What is Good?

Good is that God makes good.

I said to the LORD,
"You are my Lord;
apart from you
I have no good thing."
[Ps 16:2]

Rejoice! Again I Say Rejoice

The LORD saith ...

If you know me,
Believe me
and Rejoice!

Rejoice when in plenty
Rejoice when in want
Rejoice for the LORD is God
Rejoice for He had done it
Rejoice for His will is done

The LORD Hears

You hear, O LORD,
the desire of the afflicted;
you encourage them,
and you listen to their cry ...
[Ps 10:17]

Faithfulness

We are to be faithful to the current reality that God have put us in, nothing being too little to God, and God will be faithful to all the impossible desires that He have put in our hearts.

The Way of the LORD

The Way of the LORD is terrible and mysterious. Discernment of the Spirit, obedience to his leading, and the fear of the LORD, are essential to walking this life in faith, and it can be a strange, inexplicable and frightening way ...

The LORD spoke through Isaiah son of Amoz. He said to him, "Take off the sackcloth from your body and the sandals from your feet." And he did so, going around stripped and barefoot. Then the LORD said, "Just as my servant Isaiah has gone stripped and barefoot for three years ... [Isa 20:2,3]

Animals

Whether animals live or die, flourish or be extinct, it is in our power to say so.

And human beings do take effort and pains to keep the animals for various reasons.

Now if we can do this for animals who are not our own nor our creation, how much more will God care for those that are his and his creation?

So animals are here to teach us about ourselves and to reveal to us God. And so animals are God's servants too.

The Symbol of a Child

Children are a symbol of the unity of two persons becoming one.

The child is the physical analogue of the being that we become when we are one with another.

A child is the same and at the same time different from either parents.

It is a new and unique creature that is only possible when two persons become one.

God's Presence

God is like the morning light at dawn,
when the sun has not appear above the horizon,
when the sky lightens imperceptibly,
and all dark corners in the house becomes visible,
and no darkness is left untouched
not unlike any artificial light
that still leave shadows and places unlighted.

God's presence is like the ants
that we do not know where it comes from
nor how it got to the food
but any scrap of food anywhere in the house
the ants shall surely find it
and we give up trying to stop it
we just live with it.
